are Xbox live going to give us any free games for the Xbox one for the monthly membership fee

and I am not talking about the demo's

Games/Accessory/Xbox Live Costs

So with the next generation upon us and a New next gen Xbox to be revealed this Tuesday do you think the prices of the games/Xbox Live and accessories will either rise or remain the same.

This time we are using Blu Ray disc which isn't as cheap as a dvd disc which could mean the game prices might rise. Not to mention the accessories as well as Xbox Live cost.

Hopefully there will not be any rises in price as if there are then it could be a little while before people get a new game or any accessories.

Microsoft will let game developers run their own e-sports tournaments in Xbox Live

At a presentation at the Game Developers Conference in San Francisco today, Microsoft announced a new set of tools that will make it possible for game developers to run competitive tournaments through Xbox Live. Called the "Xbox Live Tournaments Program," the new initiative is described by Jason Ronald, head of the Xbox Advanced Technology Group, as "easy to integrate tournaments" that will be powered by Xbox Live and can be customized by the developers depending on the game or tournament.

They never did until years into the life of the XBox 360 when they started doing the "Games For Gold" thing.

I don't really expect them to give me free games. I expect to be able to play great games on my ONE and so far that's what I've been doing.

The Xbox 360 has an eight year old back catalogue of hundreds of games to pick from for that platforms 'Games with Gold'. Xbox One has been out 12 weeks.

It is coming but is still in planning.

I personally agree with Az. Had a cracking few months with my shiney slab. (When i've had time!)

That's because you don't have an XBox ONE.

The thing that's really stood out for me with the ONE is the depth of the games.

I bought a bunch of games thinking I'd need that to keep me entertained and what I've discovered is that I'm going to be playing for a really long time.

There's tons to play and they'll keep you going for a while.

There's an anouncement about a games for gold type thing on the xbox one coming sometime this year.

There's some brilliant games on the Xbox One at the moment.

 

after playing 5 of the arcade games on xb1 now,i think they are all worthy of games with gold,once they are on sale and done the reduced price thing im sure they will be..

Pstar golf/halo SP/max CoB/strider/and KI.all quality games.
