New games revealed for Xbox One backwards compatibility including Alan Wake and Fable 2

IS this available in EU yet or only america? I want to play Deus Ex Human Revolution

 

^^ You can still play Deus Ex. Pop that baby in your Xbox 360 and have at it.

 

Backward compatibility is available in the EU. I'm in the UK and have been playing Mass Effect on the One.

Human Revolution isn't on the backward compatible list yet.

 

So does anyone know if they are going to be adding more games onto the preview program, or is it just the few they have until they launch it to the public this fall?

 

I would like to vote for Major League Baseball 2k7 for Xbox One backwards compatibility, but it doesn't show up when you search for it on the Backwards compatibility voting page.

I'm guessing it's a licensing issue or 2K doesn't care. It would have been a nice alternative since there isn't a AAA MLB game for XBOX ONE. It was the last good MLB game on 360.

It's not an age thing since I had NBA, Soccer, & other sports games from 2007 showed up when you type them in the search box.

Would guess that multiple disc games would work the same they do on the 360 now. So you would have to exchange discs to continue. Again, DRM rules, if you could just DL a disc and pass it on then that wouldn't work. It's as far as I know, an exact emulation
of the 360 OS, with nothing to do with the X1 OS. That's why Cheevos u get on 360 games are 360 achievements, not X1 Achievements. Don't make the mistake of assuming BC games are going to all the sudden be X1 games. I think of it as signing out of your X1
OS and opening a 360 app on your X1. Not gonna have a new 360 on every X1...

 

I guess I'm going to have to break out the guide which shows how to do the minimum of disc swaps for Mass Effect 2. I'm so used to playing the PC version that I've not considered the disc swapping on the console version until this thread.

 

Not to mention that any achievements you have will not be achievable again. Any you don't have, then do get will pop, but they will still be 360 achievements...
