    New Gamertag "Not allowed" - This issue is real dumb.


    So with the change to Gamertags a fair while back allowing, in their words,
    pretty much any name     to be used since they brought IDs to gamertags (Example: dog#1234), why cant I use the name "bee" at all, in any respect, no matter what I add to it its just "not allowed". Even with my current tag "", testing on another
    account to get a name change just doesn't allow that one either yet its my current tag which is clearly allowed. Can I not have the ID on the end? Can I not get #4353 on that account? Can I not change to "bee#(Insert numbers here)"? what is wrong with
    this.

    Unfortunately there are a lot of issues with anything dealing with online servers. More people are online right now than any other time in human history. I'm willing to bet the issue you're having is that simple. I would just periodically check back
    or maybe even try to do it at an odd time when most people are sleeping

    Did you file an appeal? I have had mine taken away twice now, and overturned twice, but am now still waiting for them to reinstate my original tag. Apparently they have an AI system banning, so you have to actually get to a human being to get any satisfaction...

    Well, I don't know where you stand now or what is going on but it doesn't seem like it's the gamertag's fault entirely. Allowing yourself to hear criticism of others only allows you to be hurt from offensive people. Something I recommend is ignoring those
    online, changing the ones you call friends in real life and get a new gamertag.

    I think your idea of submitting a gamer tag to get approval is a good idea. It is interesting how something that seems fine is actually deemed inappropriate to the filters. You should submit your idea here:
