    New Forza disc = lost career?


    My son has been building up his career in Forza 4 and now there's a big scratch on the disc. Its creating errors so we were thinking about getting a new disc. Hes worried that he will lose his career that he has built up. Doesn't that all get saved to
    the hard drive and wont he be able to access that if we buy a new disc or no?

    FORZA 4-DISC WILL NOT PLAY

    I have also had problem playing FORZA 4 brand new disc from game.

    I have followed XBOX no disc procedure.

    Clean disc

    clear cache

    remove harddrive, peripherals

    All other original discs play

    The game saves to the console's storage device, so purchasing a new disk wouldn't interfere with that New Forza disc = lost career? :) You should be safe to purchase a new disc.

    The game saves to the console's storage device, so purchasing a new disk wouldn't interfere with that :) You should be safe to purchase a new disc.

    we all see and hear different things when we watch a video like the one linked by the OP based upon our in game experiences and interactions with T-10 on the forums. if car clubs and public lobbies are brought back the community can thank those of us
    that voiced our opinions for the return of these lost features. I've seen no talk of a return of my beloved career leaderboards. IMO forza lost much of the replay value packed into F1 & F2 when we lost these LB's. the bogus PI discrepancy noted above is
    the other reason I was driven to PC driving sims. IMO if the PI is not fixed and there is not something interesting to take the place of the lost career LB's then this new version of forza will likely not win me back.

    I guess time will tell just how important we "the community" actually are to T-10 and Dan Greenawalt.....
