New Features... Come on!!

Bragging on the control panel I just saw. Cracked me up as these are NOT features, rather things that should have been in the core day one. I don't know who decides to put those up, but they truly need to get that down, its quite embarrassing... LoL, a new
feature is the battery indicator... Please get that down, I have enough to try to defend.

The new dash comes out on December 6, not sure if all the other new features will be released at the same time.

 

I hope over time the Xbox One will add BC and have a Xbox Originals/360 section so that we can play old games like Halo 2,GTA,Gears of War and so on

Someones keeping an eye on me lol never say never we gotta just wait for Games com Maybe we will get more details on the Xbox One is new features

 

Although it would've been nice to have many features from the start, I don't think it's really worth arguing about, especially since the developers have already said that they would fix a lot of it, and so far have been following through with exactly that.
All good things take time, & so far, I think the Xbox One is doing just fine. I'm sorry to see that you feel differently.

 

I don't really see a reason to take it down, it's letting us know what was added in the most recent update even though most of it should have been there from day one. If anything it's like patch notes for a game letting you know what was fixed and added
in the latest update. Although, maybe they could call it something other than newest features because these things were on the 360 and aren't exactly new.

 

I like the update....figured out how to set all my awesome game videos i recorded to the "one guide" as a channel which plays all of them like a movie.

 

This isn't the Xbox 360 Part 2, this is the Xbox One with a 1.0 release. The features it had were the features they intended for the 1.0 release. The only embarrassing thing is that so many of you can't grasp this. Its a different platform. Same stupidity
was said about Windows Phone in comparison to Windows Mobile.

 

At first it's about stability not added features, except if they help get ready for a major release like Titanfall. The PS4 hasn't added anything, people need to relax or not be early adopters.

 

The issue for me when I saw that is they are boasting things that should have been there in the first place. The battery indicator for instance, sure im glad its there now believe that, yet making it sound like its some state of the art thing. A simple mention
of it would have been satisfactory, but the boasting of it, like im going to go "Wow" I cant believe that feature exists. I know many wont see my point, but Ill tell ya if you have a 2014 vehicle that you love dearly, you would expect that feature in the 2015
model at a minimum PLUS enhancements. I have full faith MS will get the X1 to where it needs to be, but for me I would rather it innovate what is to come, not play catch up.

 

You are probably one of those people who thinks that backwards compatibility would be easy...

Honestly I have not enjoyed my X1 post update anymore than my X1 pre update.

Key to this enjoyment... Just play the games and don't sweat the small stuff.

The updates will come, whether you lose your night over it or not. I think battery indicator is great. Obviously nothing huge, but to be honest short from maybe that external USB-drive support, I don't any features that will come as "major".

Just play the games and enjoy!
