New Error

So I go to play Titanfall, The game starts and I press A to sign in when prompted. Immediately it kicks me back out to where it says Press A to start. No matter how many times I try it does the same thing. I checked the Titanfall forums and this is happening
to a few other people too. No one has an answer. Any ideas?

I only seem to be able to view sky news, everything else gives me an error.

 

Try power cycling (support.xbox.com/.../power-cycle-console) your console, and do the same for the equipment for your local network too. Hopefully that will sort out
the issue.

 

Yep, that was the first thing I did. Still nothing.

 

So now I not only hard reset I completely power cycled and still the same problem. I swear to god I've almost completely had it with this system. Every time I have to do a power cycle, which I save as a last resort, I end up having to move out two entertainment
centers. This is just ridiculous. So tired of the bugs and hassles. It's just not right.

 

So here's my resolve.

I called Xbox and the guy on the phone tells me to delete Titanfall completely from my HDD including whatever DLC I had bought. No matter how many times I tried to uninstall the "Expedition" DLC it would not remove itself.

From there he told me to hit "Clear Persistent Storage" (in settings under Disc / Blu-ray) then hard reset. I did that loaded Titanfall again and still the same problem, and guess what? The "Expedition" DLC was STILL there!

Then he tells me to hit "Clear Persistent Storage" again and then hard reset and then unplug everything (the Xbox, the power brick, the AC outlet) and wait ten minutes. Boot up again... reinstall Titanfall. Same problem and you guessed it... The "Expedition"
DLC was STILL there!

So I delete Titanfall again, but the DLC is still on my HDD taking up 1.9 gigs of space. The only way to get rid of it? Lose everything and do a factory restore. So before I do that I grabbed an external HDD and backed up all my games or else I would have
had to reinstall everything all over again.

Finally... an hour and a half later... I re-set-up my Xbox One and installed Titanfall. It worked. No problem. I do not DARE download anymore DLC for it even though I bought the Season pass so hooray at the end of the day I'm out 20 bucks.
