New Elite pad series 1 back triggers not working

So basically my old pad broke under warranty with stick drift so xbox sent me a replacement pad. Which after waiting 2 weeks I got that pad also had stick drift. So i contacted them got a replacement again after waiting 2 weeks, NOW the back triggers will
not work says they are mapped on the accessories app but when u test the controller it doesnt register. There is no update available apparently its upto date. This is a brand new controller so they tell me even tho the down d pad u have 2 press 3 times for
it to work but still. Any one have any ideas on how to fix these back triggers what am I doing wrong.

Yes its apparently brand new all the buttons work except the 4 back add on bumpers

Sorry to hear what you are experiencing. Have you reset the controller to default settings to see if that helps?

Unfortunately it sounds like a hardware issue and you will want to contact support. Again, sorry to hear that you have experienced these issues.

Hi, I had the Elite series 2 pad for few months now, saw some of the posts about stick drift too but thought it was time to upgrade from the series 1 pad as that was looking a little worn out from all the use.

Was a little worried about the posted issues but thought its backed up with warranty so lets go for it.

Not been disapointed, all the good stuff from the series 1 plus more and no issues at all so far.

Rubber grips are 100% better, 3 position trigger stops make firing faster than before and it just feels better. Wouldnt go back to normal xbox pad - even take mine with me when visiting friends as I know we will end up on a gaming sesh.

This works as of so far. Go to console settings, then go to system info.

Do this series of keys to reset it.

Left trigger, right trigger

X,Y

Left bumper, right bumper

X, X

Up on d-pad, down on d-pad

Hope this works
