So is this going to be considered a scuf // modded controller from Microsoft now? Yes I'm thinking this. So will this new controller = Level the playing field between us Honest non- cheating players and those who have been using the assorted
scuf // modded after market controllers? It would be Nice if the playing field was leveled out to be Equal I hope it does level things out.

See the thing is evil sells mods for their controllers while scuf modifies their controllers.+ scuf is a competetive gaming controller company thats set mainly for cod, evil controller is just a controller company but they sell actual mods for the controllers.Btw cinch gaming controllers are something to look at as well.Id like to see their qualitycompared to these as well so I'm debating.

Fact: No one has ever been banned from xbox live or gears of war for modded controllers. You just cant tinker with the box. So have fun, do what you want with your money and level the playing field against all the other people with modded controllers. I

First off, it's not cheating. Even when the Scuf controllers were first available for sale they were not modded controllers which break the Xbox CoC or TOU. Scuf controllers were certified by Microsoft meaning Microsoft game permission to Scuf to make those
controllers and approved that they comply with all the rules. The majority of pro players also use a Scuf controller. Is it cheating ? Straight up, NO.

The only advantage you have with the Elite controller or a Scuf controller is that you have paddles on the back which mimic the XYAB buttons. If you think that's cheating then you can also say that people who play games "claw mode" are cheating.

Claw mode is where you have your right index finger on the XYAB buttons instead of a trigger or bumper, allowing you to press the buttons without removing your thumb from the stick.

It doesn't give you an advantage it just allows for more efficient gaming

x-box has been sold [ 360 & 1 ] Not one controller given with the console purchase or sold separately in stores anywhere in the United States. is a Scuf. I have been all over the US and in many stores and since electronics is one of my hobbies, Ive again never
seen any scuf controller sold by Microsoft or many of the after market controllers sold on store shelves. Example = walmart, best buy, staples, Sears, ETC. The only place they are sold is on line over the internt from companys that are Not Authorized Microsoft

The fact that the controllers have a "Certified by Microsoft for XBox" sticker inside proves that they are indeed certified products which are legal. I also never mentioned they were being sold by Microsoft. There are plenty of third party products sold
for Xbox which are not made by Microsoft but are certified by them.

 

Microsoft -has- certified SCUF.

They are allowed to sell them, and they do not break the Code of Conduct, otherwise, everyone playing them, YouTuber's included, would receive console bans.

 

If Scuf controllers were not certified by Microsoft then they would not have done a spot with the CEO of Scuf gaming on the XLE coverage of E3. That's just not something you do with someone that makes a product that you disapprove of. I have a Gold C3PO
Scuf modded controller on 360. I sent it to them and had them mod it for me. It does nothing other than allow me to map out the buttons to paddles on the back. That and the D-Pad was changed from a cross to a disc. It's in no way anything like the modded rapid
fire controllers that DO give a serious edge. As was already stated, it just allows for more efficient gaming, nothing more

 

OP asked for proof of MS certification. Go to the E3 coverage on the dashboard and watch day 3. You will see the CEO of Scuf Gaming giving a demonstration of the new Scuf controller for Xbox One. No, I don't have written documentation but that, to most,
would be all the evidence needed since MS is certainly not going to give air time, on THEIR channel to an unapproved third party hardware developer
