    New Edge version won't leave full screen?


    Posting this here because this is where the help option in the Edge menu brought me. If this is the wrong place I apologise.

    Edge was updated on my Xbox One X and if I go into full screen it won't leave it again.

    I can only access the address bar again by hitting Y in full screen and then moving the cursor to the address bar then hitting Y again to be able to select the address bar. I still can't do anything after that though because the screen stays greyed out and I can't select anything on screen.

    I've also tried creating a new tab, opening another site and switching tabs but the screen stays greyed out.

    It basically makes the browser useless if you want to use full screen mode.

    Is Microsoft Edge supposed to be a standalone browser?

    Ok, here is the deal.

    I accidentally pinned a snapped version of Edge from snap an app, and even doing settings to full screen and pinning it to home screen - it will behave like a snapped version causing a docked sidebar.

    So solution was to select the Edge app from Games n apps instead - and it opens as a standalone full screen browser.

    I had no idea there were this kind of difference between the apps.

    Just to clarify, you can see on the edge of the screen, there are blank spaces for no reason. I recorded in full screen too, I do not understand what is causing this.

    Problems with the Xbox App and Website.

    To clarify:

    •Both browsers (Chrome and Edge) loop posts after pressing 'Get More' button,

    •Both browsers' (Chrome and Edge) horizontal scrolling on Clubs home screen doesn't work (have to rotate device to bring club into view),

    •Xbox App on Android Mobile doesn't load comments or likes but posts are visible.

    Android version: 8.0.0

    Xbox App version: 1808.1005.2148

    Microsoft Edge version: 42.0.0.2741

    Chrome version: 70.0.3538.80
