    New Edge doesn't launch after console resumes from Instant on.


    Twice now noticed that when selecting the New Edge icon to start app, nothing happens. App does not launch. The only way to get it to start is to shutdown console or press Restart console from long press controller Nexus menu.

    This behavior, not launching, only occurs after turning console on from standby (Instant on). It does not happen after a full restart of the console or from Energy save power mode.

    Scratch don't suppose your game was instant resumed was it? I had frame rate and juddering before my save messed up when I resumed from instant on. Once I rebooted from scratch and reloaded save it ran perfectly!

    If the Xbox One is off, TV doesn't pass through, even in Instant -on mode.

    The setting to check for downloads and installs is Settings, Power & startup. If that's set to Instant-on, then the console downloads updates and can resume quickly (though it's a beta).

    I put the Forza 5 disc in after selecting a bunch of stuff to download and install (including Ghosts, Ryse, and DR3). I went to bed at 2:30am. By 8am everything had downloaded and installed.

    I've got a new issue that the Xbox wont download in the background when it's off and in instant resume mode. Install fails even though it's worked well in the past. A new issue with the update that allows you to install remotely I guess. All very frustrating
    and it finishes today doesn't it?

    I had the same problem with PvZ. What worked for me was turning off "Instant on", rebooting the console, re-enabling "Instant on" and turning off "Resume Games Quickly".

    After the last update, the problem was finally solved!!! And a new featured that I liked, if you are watching TV and then turn off the xbox (On instant on of couse) when you turn it on, the last app resumes too, in this case the TV, not in fullscreen though.
