    New disk drive error code


    I recently had my xbox one disk drive replaced, it had begun to get real picky about whether it was going to read a disk.

    When I got it home it wanted to do an update. When it had finished I got an error message...

    E100 00000703 80910008.

    Can anyone tell me what this error message means?

    Apparently this is a hardware update error code.

    Did this numb-nut install an incompatible drive or something?

    I have a feeling the *** will be flying thick and fast when next we meet and I just want to be informed.

    Any advice would be greatly appreciated.

    Cant Download 8-26-2013 Download!?!?!?

    If all else fails make sure your disk drive is plugged in that's why I got the error code

    help new 360 update failed w/error code

    Help, not finding anything in search. tried MS support suggestions with no help. Just bought a new xbox and have had numerous consoles so not new to xbox. selected the update after logging into profile and the console froze. I only have access to a MAC but I am sure the file downloaded from the MS site is on the USB drive now getting the same bs error code.

    sounds like it was not installed correctly or it was the wrong drive but sadly MS cannot help as only MS is authorized to repair consoles. now MS will not touch that console even if you paid them. you will have to deal with whoever did the repair.

    As davemcfly85 stated, the repair center will not work on a console that has been opened or tampered with. However you might be able to correct this error though the update troubleshooting steps

    HERE    . If that doesn't work, you will need to work with the folks who replaced the drive.

    As davemcfly85 stated, the repair center will not work on a console that has been opened or tampered with. However you might be able to correct this error though the update troubleshooting steps

    My game won’t install after a certain point it is the full game and is on disc what do I do

    Is the disk new? Are there any signs of damage to the disk? If.not are you getting any sort of error code and have you checked your available storage space?

    What kind of hard drive did it come with.

    Providing you are using the original hard drive if the error persists i would advise calling xbox support they should help you.

    Also i have a problem a disk reading error the disk tray will jam if there is no disk in but if there is not problem.
