New Design Lab Controller Arrived with broken X Button

I was super stoked to get a custom Design lab colour controller and I nabbed it for 100$ during the Easter sale. Got my gamertag engraved and everything.

It arrived a few weeks later and I put it on my tv stand as my pretty backup for my lunar white controller that has a minor drift problem.

I tried to use it for overwatch and warframe recently and i noticed that i couldn't reload, my x button was unresponsive. I switched back to my other controller to make sure it wasn't an in game issue and that x button worked. I was hoping to have at least
1 perfectly working controller.

I've never ordered anything from the online store before so what should i do in this situation? Do I send it back for repairs? How does this process work?

do i get reward points for the design lab controller? it arrived today and i was charged once it shipped so i figured id see it on the rewards page by now.

 

Xbox Elite controller Has a Major Design Fail with RB and LB

Xbox Elite controller has a MAJOR DESIGN FAIL in the RB and LB buttons because Microsoft used Extremely thin plastic connecting Lb and Rb to each other causing them to break under normal game play. So please Phil Spenser do the Xbox games right and make
an Xbox Elite 2 controller with the new design from the Xbox one s FOR PROJECT SCORPIO thanks from and true Xbox game for 9 years now also please make design labs work on Elite controllers so in other words Xbox Elite 2 should be the controller to come with
SCORPIO and it should be a in Design labs that would make a Huge difference for Xbox gamers.
