New dashboard update , not loading content.

Ever since my console updated to the new dashboard i"ve been having ongoing issues with networking on my console , the main problem is that absolutely nothing will load such as
my friends list , games and apps , the store and any other content featured on the dashboard.... lookin for help trought xbox support i was able to find a partial solution that involves
power ciclyng my network devices and my console and also clearing my xbox alternate mac address. After doing this my console works fine for a while but then it reverts back into this
broken state. I also restore my console to factory defaults but it didnt work. While i was reading trought the forum ive found a post that perfectly describes my situation but it seems that neither of us have been able to find answers.http://forums.xbox.com/xbox_support/xbox_one_support/f/4267/t/2053223.aspx

anyone else having this problem? is there any fix for this?

loading issue

Are you with the dashboard preview. If so go into the system settings and get the new dashboard update. That allegedly fixes the freezing while loading issues effecting forza

Problem with Spinner on Sign-In

When I sign into my console I'm having intermittent problems with the dashboard not loading. It appears as though it's loading the dashboard content with the spinning loading circle on top of my theme, but the dashboard content never shows. Kinect icons
are at the bottom corner, it plays sounds as if I'm shifting left/right when I hit the arrow keys but shows nothing. I can hit the guide button on my controller and launch apps/games from the recent menu and return to the dashboard from the app and then the
dashboard content loads. I have a gold account in good standing on a wired connection that tested out fine.

i have the same problem

i'm connected to xbox live, but xbox one does't show pins or store contents

all the network checks are ok

i've tried to hard reset the console, but it's only a temporary solution

the problem appears again in a few days

please help us!

Quick question...

Are you on the normal dashboard or are you in the Preview Program on the New Xbox One Experience dashboard?

If you're on the normal dashboard, what prompted the green loading screen? (Did you have a console update or is this a new console)?

That is not correct SirBruce. This method WILL NOT clear your cache. I have not had to update any games or apps again and I have used this process 20+ times. It has made the dashboard load every time.

If you look at the many threads on this issue, you will see that clearing the content cache has not helped myself or anyone with this specific problem.

I made the initial post to try to help anyone still having the dashboard loading issue. To provide them with a simple, reliable work around I found, rather than keeping the solution to myself. Therefore, no further posts are necessary.

Basically, if the dashboard will not load:

Bring up the guide menu,

hold RT then press Y.

This WILL NOT clear the content cache relating to game and app updates. But it will stop the endlessly spinning circles and load the dashboard.

i am in the same boat. i finally updated this morning but Dashboard content won't appear, it says 7 friends online but i can't see who, netflix just sits there with the loading circle, marketplace won't load. Big headache.
