    New Dashboard Update Faults?


    hi guys, sorry to come of as a bit of a rant but maybe you can help.

    im not totally convinced the update was an improvement , feedback -

    So the whole thing feels and is a lot faster I agree and the layout is ok, however what I noticed please correct me if I'm wrong but finding "redeem code" in the new store slides??? I can't find it at all maybe I'm being silly the STORE has had a lot of
    tabs and content cut up.

    secondly the snap feature is a little longer to use considering its "snap"

    i find my self having to double tap the dash button fine but to unsnap/select screen you must sorta scroll about which the previously D-pad was better In my opinion also to snap without Kinect you must scroll to the bottom to get snaps up were as friends
    being the first tab is not the most needed thing at times... Where as snap was designed to be fast and "snap" mid game and such too.

    lastly the new game hub/ feeds is odd.please someone open up the achievements tab ... It snaps it I want it full screen... So fair enough press start go full screen.. The new game hubs is better I love it but!!!

    the achievement app doesn't display all games anymore in fact you open it up per game so to look at another list I must back out and find the game hub or snap another games achievements ....

    I do apologise for this being a bit negative but it's more feedback if I say so. I just feel that some of the older stuff worked better some features I can't even access / find!!!!

    Modern Warfare 2 Update Error code

    Well there a new dashboard update, so I need to burn a CD of the new update of dashboard, because it error too when downloading new dashboard, but can get it to update threw a CD. Will see after the new dashboard install, if Modern Warfare 2 will update.

    To redeem a code via the new Xbox UI go to the 'Games' tab and choose 'Browse all games' you will then see 'Use a code' on the top right hand side of your screen

    I'd like to start by acknowledging where you're all coming from. It would seem that if right after a dashboard update you're unable to connect, it'd be the new dashboard's fault.

    However... the new dashboard has been tried and tested and simply does not impair your ability to connect. The new dashboard update is completely unrelated to your ability to connect - it's simply a coincidence. We're slowly rolling out the update, and
    we've received several reports of consoles without the update in China that are not able to connect.
    Nevertheless, we're thankful of the report, we're currently still investigating.

    I am also having this problem. No offense, but you won't find many answers to the problem. It's xbox live's fault with the new dashboard.
