    New Dashboard Update Bug


    There appears to be a bug now with the latest version of XBOX One Dashboard. No matter what I do (I just tapping the home button on the controller once) and the Guide screen will not popup. Dashboard will dim out for a few screens and goes back to the
    dashboard without loading anything. I even try using the left, right, up, down buttons to try and goto the Friends, Settings, etc icons, but it will not let me select them.

    Hey there, Deathly ViPeR!

    I'm sorry to see any issues with loading the Guide! It sounds like there might be an issue with the update on the console as a whole. I suggest doing a

    factory reset     keeping your games and apps. This will reset the operating system on the console.

    I am really happy that you got it sorted out, and it didn't even click in my head about the settings section not showing up. I apologize for my confusion on that! I should have given you the steps to force that page with the Xbox Start Up Troubleshooter
    on the console.
