New Dashboard - DON'T OPT OUT! here's why.....

Got the new dashboard for Xbox, looks cool, like some of the features, but its full of bugs. (no real suprise tbh)

Opted out so i could go back to the current dashboard and once the 2gb update had gone through a day later, i find that all my games, settings, profiles have been wiped off and i have a factory set xbox again... fun times

Advice, don't opt in yet, but if you did, don't opt out unless you wanna sit there and reinstall every game again

i have read on certain websites that there is a lot problems with the dashboard update, i have enrolled , but since reading i don't really want there to be any issues with my xbox and it is not allowing me to opt out is there a way i can opt out of the new
update

Just wait until everyone gets the dashboard..... Ta Da.. Problem solved

 

It tells you that a factory reset is involved if you want to remove the preview dash when you sign up.

If people can't be bothered to read that then I doubt they'll bother to read your post

But I think a lot of people don't read all the information properly when signing up for these things. They often just jump in without reading everything then seem surprised when they encounter problems.

I said it before, I think it's great that people sign up and test these things out, helps the likes of me and others a lot in the long run but if it was me I'd be reading ALL the small print before jumping in.

It's truly sad how many people never know what they are getting into. Add the fact it's a pointless post because most people already know how it works. If not, LOLLOLLOL

 

I read some possible warnings before I opted in and decided not to.

Sometimes you just gotta read the fine print even if it's front and center. Sucks bro but just re download it. It's all you can do.

 

IMPETUOUS. Someone used this word a few times not long ago in these forums and it stuck with me. It's become one of my favorite words. I guess it's a good thing I like it since there seem to be so many posts, so often, that are the very definition of it
here.

^Indeed... not for everyone of course, but it seems to be the norm. The irritating thing is that many people refuse to place the blame where it truly belongs.

 

I don't think it was 'fine print' though? It was pure black and white in your face, lesson learned, I hope.
