    Heya so i've just created a xbox live account under a brand new icloud account.

    When I log into the website I get this message:

    It looks like this email is used with more than one account from Microsoft. Which one do you want to use?

    This makes no sense. the email is brand new and only used on my ipad. If I try to log into the IT one it does not have the same password and I am unable to reset it so I can remove the account.

    I'd just make a new one but I already paid up for gold, gamepass and a couple of games so what can I do?

    I can't make a new account with my personal email

    When I try to create a new Xbox LIVE account with my personal gmail account says there is an error and then exits. I tried on the xbox itself and on the web but nothing. This email had a Windows Live account before but I detached it to create a new one. I
    have tried everything please help.

    How to Change your Xbox LIVE account information

    Overview

    It is possible to change information associated with your Xbox LIVE account like your name, address, phone number or email address.

    Note: You cannot change the country that is associated with your Xbox LIVE account. If you have moved to another country and you would like to access Xbox LIVE from there, you have to create a new Xbox LIVE account in your new location.

    How to Change your name, address, phone number or email on Xbox.com

    1) Go to My Account and Sign In with your Microsoft Account. (This is the email and password that is associated with your Xbox LIVE account).

    2) Make the changes you want to your billings account information and then click Save.

    1) Sign in using your Xbox LIVE gamertag.

    2) Proceed to Settings, and then select Account.

    3) Select Your Information, and then go to Billing Information.

    4) Sign In with your Microsoft account password.

    5) Change your billing account information and then click Done.

    In case you want to change the billing name on your Xbox LIVE account, go to Xbox.com

    I have had this come up a couple of times with MS Office, I just clicked on personal account since I know I didn't make a work or school account. I haven't seen the question come up again.

    I have had this come up a couple of times with MS Office, I just clicked on personal account since I know I didn't make a work or school account. I haven't seen the question come up again.

    Can I create a new Microsoft account on the same email then delete the old one.

    How do I create a new Microsoft account with the same email address as the Microsoft account I am using right now, when I go to create a new account it says I can't use the email because it's already used for this account?
    What the person above said is flat out incorrect as far as I am aware.

    Unless something has changed very recently youve never been able to have two different Microsoft accounts under the same primary email address. Its always been one unique email per account.

    So you have two emails for the one account. There is no way to separate it. It's all one account. One of you will have to create a new account.

    Yeh, that's what I thought, but to do that I have to remove my personal email from the auto-created account, and to do that it says that the Microsoft account will be deleted and this is the email I use for everything
