New Coyote Canyon DLC will be free to download.

This was pointed out during the demo videos that have been posted from PAX East. It also includes new achievements to earn. The only thing lacking is a release date.

How Do I Access Coyote Canyon?

I purchased the full game and it's supposed to come with the Coyote Canyon course, however I don't seen it anywhere in game. Looking at online videos, it looks like a fun course and I'd really like to try it.

I went to the Xbox store thinking it might be a separate download but there is nothing listed there for Coyote Canyon. I even went into "manage game" because sometimes DLC doesn't automatically download and install and it shows it sitting there waiting
to install. However, it isn't listed there either.

Any advice?

Got to love FREE! Many developers are doing this. PopCap Games, Zoe Mode/MS, and even Titanfall; even though I wish it were more then a 2v2 Last Titan Standing... What about FFA? I am sure there will be a post from Ruzzikial (sp) on the Blade (is that what
its called ???) on the in game menu to keep us posted.

 

Yes! I got to start playing this again. Actually I got to start playing games again period. My depression is starting to creep in and effect my gaming. It really sucks....

 

This has gone very quite, anyone know anything?

Haven't heard a peep. The meld pages within the game haven't been updated lately either. Might want to send Rukizzel a message and see if he will hint at a release date.

 

The new course is available to download now, the update dropped today by the look of it.

 

Th Coyote pack is not free, also the FREE powerstar golf game is a con, it is purely a demo.

A free game as this is advertised is false advertising and i will be reporting microsoft for this.

 

Coyote is free if you already bought the game before this update, or you buy the full game now.

You have a Free/Demo version to play but to access all the content you have to buy the game.

It's not false advertising as you didn't have to pay anything to play the free version now did you.

 

it states free game, that means a free full game. If thius were a demo which it is then it should say, "DEMO", false advertising as it is NOT a free game as you have to purchase the content you originally got with the game to play it.

 

@ WATZZCOC - The store page actually states what's included with the free version, it uses the same model as Killer Instinct, KI says "Get it free" in the store too but I don't see you complaining about that.

If you look in the store there's also a listing for "Powerstar Golf - Full Game".

 

then it should say "DEMO" when you choose to install it, when i installed it it said FREE GAME

 

Except it isn't a demo under the old 360 model. It keeps track of your scores, gives XP points used to level up and pays credits which can be used in game to purchase perks and equipment. It IS a game.

 

It is now FREE but limited to only one course and Frank. If you want more courses, career mode, etc you will have to buy packs or the FULL GAME (which I recommend) then when you buy Full or All Packs separate you will receive Coyote Canyon; unless i read
that wrong. I got this game day one so...

Also nice to see they added 200 more GamerScore to this game and my GF is having a blast getting a few so far... (She/We have been waiting for this awhile and were surprised it was released Thurs with little to no notice; found out via IGN)
