New controllers on a Mac

I'm thinking about buying a new controller but does anyone know if these new controllers with Bluetooth are able to pair and work with a Mac? Thanks!

Xbox One party chat issues

Im have the exact same issue, my older Xboxone works and my newer model does not, I'v also tried

port forwarding.

clearing the Mac.

Factory reboot.

Updating controllers.

Using multiple remotes and head sets.

I even got a new modem/router from (Xfinity)"updated"

The chat also come out choppy from the TV.

I'm on the same boat buddy, hope someone can help out!!!

Xbox one Controller support on MAC.

There is very few controllers working for mac computers... please support mac functionality. please. please please. doesn't matter if it works perfect just from plug and play... please at least something where you plug it in... and map your own controller
using a piece of software... if that's possible please do it. I love xbox one and I love mac.

That article from Jan 2015 is referring to the old controller, not the new one. In the first paragraph it says it won't work wirelessly, requires 3rd party drivers and basically is just appearing as a 360 controller.

The entire first page of a Google search on "Xbox One controller driver for Mac" is a riff on the article from Jan 2015. Never say never but I think at this time the answer is no.

While the new controller may pair with a Mac via Bluetooth it still would need drivers in order to work at all in the OS and with games. I doubt that drivers would be provided by Apple for an MS product.

I just checked with a tech journalist friend of mine, who has tried it himself, and you can indeed use the new controllers on a Mac. As you rightly say, you need third party drivers, but the ones in the article I linked above are pretty good. I use one myself,
with my USB XB360 pad.

How were the parental controls applied within the route? Was it by the device name,IP address or MAC address? If it was either IP address or device name simply renaming your XBOX or giving it a new IP "may" get around the controls that were set and seem
to still be affecting you. If it was done by MAC address then you could try the alternate MAC address function in network settings on the console.
