new controller update changed impulse triggers

This has been driving me crazy! So i play forza 6 and when you brake the left trigger vibrates smoothly and increases the more you press the trigger. I plugged in my new chat pad and it prompted me to update my controller, so i did. Now the vibration for
the left trigger is 5x more powerfull and comes in speratically. it pops in very hard and it makes it impssible to do smooth braking. At first i thought my controller was braking, so i pluged in one of my old controllers and it was fine, smooth as butter.
Then i though ill plug in the chatpad on this controller too. After that update on that old controller the same problem happed. it cahnged the vibration on that controller too I have one other controller that im not updating because i dont want this problem.
im using it now untill this problem can be fixed. i tryed googling this and there is nothing i could find, i dont even know if this is the right place to post this? really hope this is an actuall problem and im not just goin crazy, lol.

Impulse triggers rumble not working.

Is there a way to get impulse triggers working with rumble?

My controller rumbles but not my triggers.

Impulse trigger support on PC

Are the Xbox One controller Impulse Triggers going to be supported on PC?

Im typing this on my xbox one and for some reason it wount let me edit my post. You may be able to test this if you dont have forza but have mutiple controllers. you can go to xbox settings and in devises you can "buzz" your controller. when i do that with
my 2 controllers that have been updated they vibrate like crazy(very strong) but i then do it on my old controller that hasnt had an update in like 1 year, the vibration is soo light and not that hard at all. i would like to update that controller too to see
if it happens again but i dont want to not be able to play forza because its reaaly hard to brake with this new vibration.

I hope BF4 updates the game as well to make use of the impulse triggers. If the feature is there, use it.

Hey there, what you're describing may be the impulse triggers in the controller which also vibrate. Would that be a possibility or is what you're experiencing something more intense in the controller?

Question is, if the windows 10 driver for the Xbox One controller supports impulse trigger rumble in the first place? Can you confirm that it does?

If you say its purely a developer choice, that means there should be a way to "test" the impulse rumble feature of the controller somehow within windows 10(Calibrating e.g.)?

Looks good. Nice to hear they are using the impulse triggers even if there isn't a change from AR to Shotgun. Nice little touches though.
