  1. NEW Controller needed in response of Kinect changes - must haves in 2015

This is just my opinion but I think it warrants some attention.

Two things to cover, #1 is the controller and #2 is the Kinect

    The Controller:

(Just make a new and improved controller)

-The one we have is fine BUT since the 2013 E3 announcements a lot has changed. By design the controller was to work in conjunction with the Kinect.

The Kinect is great for some and a nightmare for others (where supported). Lets bring everyone back together again for a better experience.

What - Take the same design and add in the following

***(removable KeyPad that is back-lit) that also has the xbox stereo adapter built in with a few function buttons that are default controls for what the Kinect does. This device should have BlueTooth compatibility and the thumb sticks on the current controller
after normal use in 30 days start to create a lean or permanent push in one direction from clicking in the thumb sticks.

Why - The function of any electronic device should first function 100% for hearing impaired and for those who do not choose to use optional hardware (even if its included in their package) If the functions and features are built into the UI then the controller
as well as the (optional Kinect) should both allow the great experience this new XBox One seeks to offer. Let everyone enjoy the years of research and work at their own pace.

-We really all want to have the ability to use wired and wireless headsets.

    Mouse/Touchpad support:

What - We really like using keyboards but I'm often confused why the Kinect is optional but no other option is available unless we have a smartGlass device. The SmartGlass app is very much appreciated but it does little to create a better experience. Its
a great alternative but its not there to replace the controller or the Kinect. Microsoft has worked to familiarize its customers with Mice and Keyboards and touch surfaces. Please build those successes into the Xbox One.

Why - There is no need to work against something that Gamers themselves use all the time whether on a console or PC. We use mice and keyboards and are use to them. We are not use to using a Kinect-like device even tho some of our smart devices have pieces
of the technology we are not there yet in masses.

Kinect: (Thanks for the optional SKU)

What - Lets use it to build upon what was successful with the Xbox 360

-Allow developers to use the Kinect for character creation of full 3d models that resemble our likeness as it pertains to the game

-Use the Kinect as an extension of functions that work via the controller. Yes we like being able to record moments and navigate around with our voices but we all speak differently, some of us have speech disabilities or cannot talk at all. Start slow
and allow us to welcome new features with controller functionality 100% and its an added benefit to use the Kinect instead of the controller.

Why - Voice activated and camera intuitive devices are the future. We begin to see more and more integration even as cars and homes began to adapt these technologies but if the feature is not 100% better than what exists, lets not push it at all.

    ie:

-Lane Line phone to cell phone (eliminated pay phones and increased communication capabilities)

    -56k Modem to High Speed

-Tube TV to flat screen to LED and Plasma screens

-control panel on TV's to remote controls to smart device/remote controls

    **Consoles to wireless controllers

*Camera and Voice interaction doesn't stem from anything unless its to improve the controller functions. The controller functions are imperative to show us as the customer progression and a better way. Right now the comparison if from the first Kinect
    to the second.

**Kinect one - for game specific and optional navagation done by the controller

Kinect two - ??? This isn't building on anything that the XBox One does or something the X1 lacks in functionality

    :)

New Controller needed, after removal of Kinect

I am not sure if anyone else noticed a small problem with the Kinect being optional now. The Kinect used to be able to tell who was sitting where and make split screen play really easy.

Now that Kinect is optional, all the controllers have no indication of player 1 and player 2 and so on.

Xbox 360 had this feature, and it was great.

Hell even Sony's lightbar isn't perfect, because the color to player position isn't clear.

For games like Killer Instinct this is more than a minor annoyance when you are hosting a tournament.

Please Xbox bring back the Xbox 360 controller lights, or a way of telling who is what player.

    Elite controller triggers

The Elite controller is almost Elite...triggers are just lacking the ability to change their response curves like the thumbsticks do. Does anyone else have this on their must have wishlist, or am I the only one?
