New controller drift

Recently i had my day one controller go bad, the D pad stopped working. So i went out and bought a new controller from my local game stop. After taking the new sealed box controller home and syncing it to my xbox one i noticed it had stick drift on the
left stick. My player was moving right all the time. So i took it back and they replaced it. I am on controller #5 now and every controller has the same problem, some even drifted in other directions and both sticks had drift on some. This is getting very
frustrating!! I have been an Xbox owner since the very first one came out and have had some issues over the years as the equipment started to age, but never have i had brand new equipment act up right out of the box like this. Is there other people having
this same problem? Is Microsoft aware of this problem? Is Microsoft doing anything about it???????

If your controllers drifting, rather get it replaced if its brand new.

It is likely controller stick drift, you will need a brand new controller

I just got a Xbox controller for Christmas. And as soon as I connected it to my Xbox it had drift on the right joystick. I opened the controller right from the box and didn’t get any dust of anything like that near it but still it drifts. I wanted a new Xbox controller because my old controller had drift. Crazy how out of the box it already has drift.

if you have a guarantee make use of it to have the damaged controls changed, many times that problem is due to dust, some hair that makes contact in the area I recommend having your controls in a clean area, you could even seek help for someone to clean
them in a some workshop or shop

I have an Xbox one and now both of the controllers are experiencing left stick upwards drifting. I've been researching online and it seems to be a common problem. I'm hoping that Microsoft will stand behind their product and offer a replacement
