    New Console


    I am about to upgrade to the One X, however, I have a concern regarding my games. I was wondering if the games under the "ready to install" tab will appear in the same tab once I get my new console or if I need to download all of them to an external hard
    drive in order to play them on the new console. This is only regarding games that I have purchased in the past, but are not currently downloaded to my console as I dont want to lose nearly 100 games.

    The Gears Of War 3 console is now available for pre-order, I was wondering if i bought that and a transfer cable. Could I transfer ALL my downloaded content from my current console on too the newer one ? Any answer is greatly appreciated !

    Ok so it has a 320 Gb removelable Hard Drive and 4 gb of internal memory? is that right?

    Hey Fallenbros!

    Thanks for reaching out to us today. To answer your question, once you get your new console all of your digitally purchased games will show up on the ready to install list. Once you buy a game digitally, an entitlement is applied to your account/gamertag
    and that game is yours to own and re-install at anytime. You can also download your games to an external hard drive as well, that is another option.

    You can go to
    https://account.xbox.com/mygames     to look over the games you own, and what will be available to download for that account once you add the account to your new Xbox.

    It may take a few days for the “ready to install” tab on the new Xbox to refresh, but it will, so don’t panic.

    Hey there,

    The great news is that once you login to your gamer profile and have your X set as your home console, you will be good to go! Enjoy your X by the way, its a great system!

    New Console

    This is the one feature I love about MS is that you can kniw your entire library is your going forward. Another geat feature they recently added is network installs. Meaning if you have your old console and new console in the house but no external drive,
    you can network all of your installed games from the old system to the new which might be faster than downloading on your internet connection.

    Also helps if you have a data cap, as it is not downloading from Xbox but transferring via your router/gateway hub.

    The short answer to your question "Can I re-install those on my new Xbox One S", is yes. Your games and apps are tied to your Xbox Live account and you should not have any problems using them on your new Xbox One S. For move information see, "Moving
