New console update

    New console update


    The current console update's 4 noGood. On the games app I cannot see how much space is left on external storage devices!?!
    [Mod Removed - Profanity] Everything was a lot better before this update! This is nonsense & BS!! After 20years I'm seriously thinking about switching to Sony's PS4!

    NEW console update

    just got it as well, there was 2 downloads after reboots and took forever compared to most XBL downloads aswell. close to 5 minutes total

    New console update

    Hi, the hdd total space is still there, on the my games and apps screen. If you want to see individual external storage, that is still in settings>system>storage

    I'm aware of that. The point is the recent update removed valuable info'bout how much space is left on each of the devices on the games'app - makin'it harder, complicated & more time consuming to install new content (especially if the capacity's around 90%
    because now I need to go to the settings'app and check everything out).

    It only showed a global total of free space in my games and apps and has done for some considerable time.

    New console update

    the console update has its hits and misses. Sometimes this happens when we don't want it to. For me when the september update happened it fried my external hard drive.

    you can use the filters in my games and apps to see whats on the external and it shows how much is left

    Got it! Take's a couple more clicks but at least it shows as before. Thanks for the filter info. Overall, the update did not improve a thing - but thats my view (who uses avatars...?) But anyway thanks 4youre help.

    Thanks for coming to the forums. There is a known upcoming issue regarding the error 0x80072f8f. We recommend to request a call from support so they may gather information on the issue.

    When you go to Contact Us,follow these steps to request a call from support:



    • Step 1 ----click on Contact us
    • Step 2 ----under what you having trouble with select Hardware & Network
    • Step 3-----under what is the issue select accessory isn't working right hit next

      Step 4 ----select request a call

    Once they call explain the issue and they will be able to help you. Note that these options regularly change so just keep selecting something that gives request a call from support as a contact option.
