New console - having a number of issues...

I purchased a new XB1 about three weeks back, absolutely loving it so far (especially with the number of awesome new games this month!), but I have a few issues, I'm not sure if they're known bugs or if I have a faulty console so thought it would be sensible
to ask here before pestering someone on support chat...

1. My consoles fans spin up immediately after turning the console on, and then remain on most of the time... even if I'm just watching a video

2. Although I'm still signed into my account every time I wake the console the friends list section says that I'm offline and need to sign in, the only way to resolve this is for me to reset the console

3. At night I can hear the hard drive, it makes a slight clicking noise... it's quiet, but noticeable

4. More recently (especially with Halo) I get an error message saying that it took too long to launch the game and to try again, the only way to fix is to hard reset the console

The majority of these seem to be software issues, but I'm a little concerned that they might actually be a result of a fault HDD, any help / suggestions here would be appreciated

A number of DLC issues.

I've been having repeated issues with trying to download content from the Rock Band Network. On rare occasions I can get purchased content to download, but 9 times out of 10 I'll have my download stop between 50 and 80% and give me the 'can't download' message.
This issue I thought I'd solved by chatting with Xbox support, but it keeps happening. What's more, it seems that the corrupted files that get into the hard drive are preventing me from getting into my storage to delete them, making the process very long and
agonizing. These problems are also causing my xbox to be unable to read games while the corrupted files are on the hard drive. Though I've been able to get through these issues on my own through trial, error and patience, I would really like to know how to
keep these errors from happening. I've done all I can think of, including reading the support forums and chatting with Xbox support.

 

Xgd3 sucks

That program was to exchange a very small number of original SKU consoles. It's having issues because the data on the new disc format is stored in a different way and your laser has worn out to the point where it can't read it anymore. All lasers wear
out given enough time and usage.
