New Communications Post Related to Chat Glitch

I, like many others (note: many others, not a small percentage which Xbox support keeps trying to state in an attempt to mislead and deceive users), received a communications suspension, which I served, but then found a problem with my chat
after the ban was lifted. I am able to hear anyone and everyone, but no one can hear me. I have been dealing with this for just shy of a month now and have received
no help from ANYONE on Xbox end. There was another post of about 100 pages with others claiming to have the same issue which is now conveniently locked. Xbox support keeps referring everyone to a sticky telling people to try a hard reset,
which is obviously not going to do anything, its just a sad attempt to confuse users and deny responsibility.

If anyone else is going through this issue I suggest you post here. This is my attempt to start a new thread and see how long Xbox is going to neglect its community, at least until this thread is also locked out prematurely.

My son got suspended. The note doesn't say for how long.

Sounds like it was a 24 hour suspension then.

They are usually for something communication related,possibly voice chat or a message he sent.

Shouldn't do.

Just means you can't use party or in game chat,skype send messages & anything else communication related.

Communications Suspensions
Communication suspensions are imposed due to inappropriate conduct during communication activities on Xbox Live. This suspension blocks an account from accessing any communication features on Xbox Live, including text messages, voice messages, video communications,
Skype on Xbox One, in-game chat, and party chat. Communications suspensions are issued for a specified temporary duration, often of 1, 7, or 14 days.

During a communications suspension the account may continue to access the Xbox Live service, including online multiplayer. At the conclusion of the suspension all communication functionality will be automatically restored.

 

What gets someone a communication ban to start with? I always MUTE every other player and never play with a head set or mic.

I'm guessing it's usually from them sending a message with profanities, then the receiver reporting the message.

@girrafe - Check the end of that locked thread. A day or two ago I saw a couple of posts from people that were able to resolve the issue, so it may finally be fixed.

 

I checked and it only got fixed for one person because he posted on Twitter, and God forbid Xbox can't look bad over Twitter, so they fixed that one account. I have no idea if its because they did something special for that guy and Xbox is just *** everyone
else over or what. The whole thing is just pathetic and everyone on Xbox end should be embarrassed, but it seems like they could care less until their reputation is questioned in a larger setting. Apparently the forums are just a dumping ground for support
when they don't have any answers.

 

And to the other question, What gets someones account banned/suspended?: I would love to know as well. Apparently its based on the Code of Conduct, which has yet to interpreted properly concerning my account. Enforcement doesn't give any specifics either.
I assume they intentionally don't tell people the specific reason so no one can question their logic.

 

I just noticed that several threads concerning this matter are now locked. Why lock a thread based on a verified answer when no answer has been provided?

 

Several more threads have been locked out. How does locking the thread solve anything? Intentionally pissing everyone off is not going to help anything.
