    New BluRay App vs. Fast&Furious 5


    We bought the Fast&Furious 7 disc Blu-Ray set. We have watched discs 1-4 without a problem. On disc 5 the intro to the disc works and then locks on the main menu. This happens consistently even after doing a full power off and on and removing and putting
    the disc back in. It works fine in my Google TV Blu-Ray and our PS4. This was done on the new updated Blu-Ray App. I have never had an issue prior to this.

    Ultra HD movies have judder/dropped frames. This happens with the martian, sicario, deadpool & batman vs superman

    I've cleared persistent storage, reinstalled the app, removed the bd live option, it still happens.

    You need to work on the bluray app.

    What Xbox One games do you have all the achievements for?

    Oh this is just sad! I only have 100% on Forza Horizon 2 Presents Fast & Furious New BluRay App vs. Fast&Furious 5 :eek:
    I really need to do something about my habit of starting million games at once and not finishing any New BluRay App vs. Fast&Furious 5 :D

    Sorry to hear you're having trouble watching Fast 5, I can understand the frustration when you're not getting sufficient Vin Diesel and Paul Walker time. Have you by chance tried clearing your Blu-Ray's Persist ant Storage? If not,

    follow the steps on this page     to reach the Blu-Ray settings and clear Persistent Storage.

    Once the storage is clear, power cycle your Xbox One by holding down the power button for 8-10 seconds, and then try again. Let us know if you're able to get Vin Diesel's beautiful bald head back on the big screen New BluRay App vs. Fast&Furious 5 :)

    Well, I did not get to try your suggestions as the system update hit my system on the morning of the 3rd and then the disc worked fine. Thank you for your time.

    Bluray 0x91d70000.

    I took a step back and thought a ouy what you said and to try another Bluray. Now Ive watched seasons 1-5 without issue. The bluray that was in during the problem previously worked, but now ZERO of the discs work. Ive tried all of the previous discs with
    no luck.

    I put in a blueray of The Fast and Furious and BDLive boots up and plays the disc as well as UFC's Top 100 Bluray. The perplexing part is that the DBZ all played before as Ive watched them all on this unit.

    I didnt see any updates come through and the xbox has not been moved/jarred/disturbed.

    The Fast and Furious series had horrible acting. I could only get through 5 minutes of one of them.
