- will we see new Xbox-branded Bluetooth headsets for Xbox One S?

- what other COMPLETELY WIRELESS Bluetooth headset will you being using? I know there are completely wireless sets available now for Xbox One from Turtle Beach and maybe a couple
of others, but those are obviously not using Bluetooth (and technically are wired to a transmitter that connects to the Xbox via USB and/or digital optical TOSLINK) and may need a power supply in addition.

I loathe wires, especially the ones that connect the headset to the controller. They get tangled up in a mess when you put them away. If you have multiple headsets like this, it's even worse - they all get tangled up together. I also dislike the sets that
connect via USB (they waste USB slots) - so Bluetooth is the way to go for me. I am assuming there will be wireless Bluetooth headsets that can be used across PC/PS4/Xbox One.

Is the headset switched to Xbox mode? The new Microsoft bluetooth/xbox wireless headsets work in either bluetooth or xbox mode, but not both at the same time. You need to make sure it's in Xbox mode to pair it with your Xbox console.

Bluetooth ftw! I just wish there were units out there that can switch between 2-3 different devices via manual control so I don't have to have a separate headset for Xbox, PC, iPad, etc. (sorta like how some Logitech mice have 3 different devices you can
switch between via switch.

 

Sorry to burst your bubble but the Bluetooth in the new controllers is only for connecting the controller to a PC. Nothing more.

well that sucks...why not put it in the *** machine itself? They better put it in Scorpio. It'll be 2017 by then...I'm sick of wires...

 

Bluetooth won't allow for wireless headsets like you think. I have a PS4 which has bluetooth and my wireless headset for it requires the USB dongle with it and a cable that goes from the USB dongle to the optical out port on it. (turtle beach 500p) I have
a wireless one for my X1 as well (afterglow AG9) and it just has the USB dongle.
