New Bluetooth Controller

I noticed that the new controller has Bluetooth built into in now. I'm wondering if gamers will finally be able to use a Bluetooth headset with it and if we are, will a Bluetooth update come out for current Xbox One console owners. It's really hard to believe
that it's going on 3 years and still no wireless chat headset like the 360 had. This is something that should have been with the console at launch.

Will PS3 Bluetooth Headset work with Xbox One?

So I have a old PS3 Bluetooth headset I never used and see the new Xbox controllers support bluetooth. Does anyone know how the bluetooth works on the new xbox? Ive read it is though the controller, so if I get a new controller that is bluetooth compat.
will I be able to connect any bluetooth device to it? I dont have the new S but looking at a new controller. Anyone have any exp with this?

 

Does the newer controller (with Bluetooth support) still be able to use the wireless receiver?

I'm planning on buying an XBox controller for my PC.

Now, my PC does have bluetooth, but just in case I would like to play in a computer that does not have bluetooth, does the newer controller (with Bluetooth support) still be able to use the wireless receiver to connect?

To summarize, what I want to know is:

Does the new controller support all kind of connection to a computer, be it Bluetooth, wireless (using a receiver), and cable?

Another related question is; if the newer controller uses bluetooth, how does it pair with a wireless receiver?

 

I saw this as well. I also noticed it mentioned the Xbox Wireless protocol. And after reading up on it a little it seems like the blue tooth is for connection to other devices like tablets and PCs. It would be great if it had the ability to connect to
headsets though. And if it does I hope they put that information out soon (I could have missed it if they did).

 

I've been tweeting them all day yesterday and today to get an answer but no response yet. I really hope they clarify the specs

 

I'm pretty sure the Bluetooth function of the controller is not to pair with the console, but rather a Windows 10 PC, or Windows 10 Mobile Phone (yes its confirmed). I am under the assumption the Xbox One S will not have Bluetooth, otherwise the Xbox One
S would just be a Bluetooth controller.

 

I'm pretty upset for buying wireless adapter for windows just recently, and now this is coming making it obsolete. :-(

That's what Microsoft does. I just don't understand why last gen console you could use a bluetooth headset but you can't with the current console. They're taking a step backwards. We need a wireless chat headset with bluetooth or allow us to use a dongle
for bluetooth so we can use our last gen headsets. Bluetooth is still the future and not including it on your current console makes it kind of a buzzkill. Also, how can you not add bluetooth when both pc, and PS4 both have it? Makes me question Microsoft's
motives.
