N7, I've played (and still own) every single CoD too. Your description is an over-simplification.

 

N7, work on your grammerz, pls. It was painful to read that. The game may not promote teamwork, but what do you expect from a fast paced twitch shooter? Kill a few people, die, respawn and repeat. I like the fast pace action CoD brings, which is why I still
like the games and look forward to Blops 3. It's not aimed at MLG 3 asterisk people. It's aimed for the mass audiences, which doesn't include MLG peeps. They also promote competitive gameplay because CoD has been popular for that. I used to play competitive
back in Black Ops 2, but gave it up because it wasn't fun 'tryharding' every game. I wanted to play for fun and CoD is still fun to me, as it is to many others. You and others here may not enjoy it, but the game won't be going anywhere. It's still the most
popular shooter out there.

I think the trailers show promise, but I really doubt they'll hit it out of the park unless the same core issues are finally properly rectified. If the maps are tiny and dedicated servers are declined by the developer again, no thanks from me. It's all grown
old for me. I've been playing CoD since the first one.

I still haven't played Advanced Warfare. The trailer gives off a similar vibe though, just further into the future and with a different storyline.

 

Personally though, I think CoD is fine for the most part. The ONLY things I really want fixed right now is the age-old engine and the network issues with lag and lag-compensation (what allows enemies to kill you with
1 or 2 bullets when it takes you a whole clip and when you die 5 seconds AFTER getting behind cover). Fix that and only that and the series will be revitalized for me again.

fixed? They aren't going to do a very good job of it when they're too busy trying to play 'new and innovative' by throwing a bunch of new perks and exo suits and blah, blah at it and they only have a year to get it all done.

In fact, if they delayed the next game's release long enough to throw away the cookie cutters and announced the next game would have a whole new engine/net code, I'd actually give
it some serious consideration.

To each their own, I guess. After all, whether you get it or not is going to have absolutely zero impact on whether I purchase it or not anyways. Unless there's some sort of mass exodus away from CoD, which everyone always seems to believe will happen, but
it never actually does, simply because there are far too many fans to let it die out so easily, not much will change (I'm, of course, referring to the popularity of the game, not the features of the game itself - you know, just in case you were wondering).

 

who plays call of duty anymore? after mw2 and black ops 1 everything has sucked since. go play battlefield more of a shooter than COD will ever be.

I tend to be better at CoD but the momentum has been shifting. But it never has to be one or the other. Anyone and everyone can buy both!

 

I might actually play online with this game, even though I doubt I'll do that good honestly, but I think it will be fun.

Honestly I was hoping for a new world war 2 or even world war 1 Call of Duty as I think it is over due for a older set location.

 

Same here Monster. I was really hoping for a past war but I'm staying open about this one. If it's fun that's all that really matters to me.

It almost sounds like you think that I don't. I love both franchises equally for different reasons and have owned (nearly - I made the mistake of passing up on the original BF1942) every single game in both series'.
