New Avatars and old Avatar clothing

Hello , Just wanted ask if when the new Avatars release will all the clothing and props with our current Avatars still be of use with the new ones? Thanks.

I think that is still just insiders. I wonder if all my old clothes will show up from when I had 360. I remember buying a STARS team outfit.

New Xbox Avatar app

Thank you for contacting Forum support!

The Xbox had a new update that allows users to also "Update their Avatar! The new avatar does have its own store for new items and props as well. (Made specifically for the new avatar)

Should you feel you want to use the Older items that ware purchased, you will have to download

Xbox Original Avatars and use the original avatar. Check out
Where’s my old avatar stuff?

Hi WilkesUSMC,

sorry to hear. As I know, the new avatar is not compatible with the old one!! The parts you bought for the old avatar could not be used - the Import should only help to find a matching new one. But in my eyes they looks so different!!! My reason why I kept
my old ones.

But maybe they have change the dress up/wearing thing and you can use the paid avatar clothes!

I think its cool, there isn't anything saying they won't bring old clothes up to the new model. Additionally we could see new games start to use the new avatars.

There has recently been an update to the avatar system. Check out this helpful support article:

Where’s my old avatar stuff?.

Basically you still have access to all your previous avatar clothes and styles you would just have to access them through the Original Avatar Editor App.

The new avatars were designed to allow users to customize them without regard to gender identity. Clothing is now unisex, so you can customize your avatar as you see fit. Anything available to the avatars through the Avatar Editor is up to community standards.
