New and tasty release....

You might be waiting a long time then...

 

Games nothing special, worth the wait if your unsure.

 

Nothing special? Than why I have been hearing about it for years? What made it so great back then? I've never had the pleasure of playing it, so I'd really like to know.

 

Its a basic platform puzzler with a bit of humour thrown in. Nothing you wouldnt have seen before. If it wasnt for the out there setting or the satire you probably wouldnt have heard about it.

Please not this is an opinion.

 

Well, what's it satirizing then?

 

Humans and Planet Earth but mostly industry and corporate greed.

 

Good strong platformer,at least it was (and still is,i guess)....

Limbo is "basic" too,but still one of the best platformer.

Oddworld is one of those classic platformers from the 90's.

 

I guess it means something to me because even my mum would watch my brother and I play this, she just loved Abe, never really watched us play anything else.

There was also this girlfriend of mine who didn't think I liked playing games and vice versa, then I came over to find her playing this, haha. It always amazed me how this game captured people of all ages. GwG or not, when I have the time I'll put my money
down.

 

I downloaded it last night. I only played for about 20 minutes, but I love this game. It's a classic in my opinion. I played it when I was younger. I'm looking forward to putting more time into it.

 

I got it and completed it in 8.5hrs, but i knew exactly where i was going and what i was doing, i love this game and im going to redo it taking a bit more time.

Only thing i will say is that the deaths back in the day didnt seem too graphic, now in hd they are so maybe not one to play infront of kids haha

 

The game is installing now. From the reviews I've read and comments I've seen this game is going to be fun. And considering some of the ridiculous prices I've seen on other games (EX: $15 for 1001 Spikes) this game is a deal at $20.00 in my personal opinion.
And yes I know its free on PSN.. but I don't have a PS4/PS3, and if I did I'd be playing it that.

After the install and I play a bit I will share my two cents on this game.

 

Has anyone else having a issue with the sound on this game. Every now and then the audio cuts out for a second then come back again. Did a Google search on this and nothing mentioned about this on the x1 but when it was released on the ps4 they had a
audio issue but it got patched.
