New Activity Feed discussion

Since update 1408 is now available to all, lets discuss the new activity feed. Do you like it? Hate it? Indifferent? Personally I like it. Great way to organize get togethers, share clips(dont send me clips on messages please)and have a little bit of fun
without being a spammer of messages. Also a neat little feature is when someone changes their GT it shows you that they changed it and what they changed it to.(I know because I changed my GT yesterday and it popped up on the feed)That was a feature that was
requested a little on bit on the preview forums. Anyway share your thoughts, comments, and concerns about it.

Personal activity feeds not working since just after 1409 update

Same thing here. None of my achievements or games that I play come up in the activity feed. It's super annoying and pissing me off !!!! Plus I HATE the new updated Activity Feed !!!! I like the old one way better. Should have a option to customize the activity
feed section !

 

Activity feed problem (console and smartglass app)

I am also having this exact same problem. Ever since the new update, my personal activity feed is blank, and none of my achievements or messages will show up on my Xbox one activity feed, my Smartglass app, or any of my friend's activity feeds. I am also
in the update preview program.

This is clearly related to the new update, please find a fix as soon as you can.

Any way I think its a good feature and feels to be enough in the background of the UI to not become a total intrusion. I also echo what 24 said just like I hate voice messages, game clips in my inbox will not be appreciated.

I do think it will be very useful for organising events or just letting people know that you don't want invites on certain nights( I often just want to play some single player by myself and not chat, so I'll use that to say hey being a Nigel tonight no
invites.

 

Can't say much because i don't have it,yet.Weird,because i got the next beta update....

I don't know if it's really better to have activity feed on the dashboard instead of having it where it was before....

 

It would be great if I could filter the feed to "Favorites only". I have 100+ friends but only a few I care about so the filter is a must for me or I won't use the feed

 

@Tzar uhh the activity feed was apart of the 1408 update. You dont have the friends tab. Two completely different things.

 

So the final 1408 version doesn't have activity feed on dashboard ?

 

No you have to go to the friends/profile tile

features, i'm indifferent, doubt i will use any of it.

visual appeal, i don't like it, i think the way the old activity feed looked was better.

 

Tzar the activity feed and friebds tab are completely seperate things. The activity feed shows you achievements unlocked by friends, game clips recorded and stuff like that. The friends tab is just a leaderboard of who has gained the most achievements over
the last 30 days. Again two completly different things.

 

I like the updates. They need to add a friends request back.
