Yes you should ideally create an account for each person in the family. Fortunately, if you are all sharing the same console, you can share your gold membership with your family as well as each others games at no extra cost. The below page holds some useful

Hi there,

There is nothing to suggest that this feature will ever come to the 360 and if the service possibly ending in 2016 I don't think they will be looking to add too many more features to the 360.

Though a lot of last generation games are coming out for the Xbox One so maybe if you hold out for a bit longer your children's favourites games will come to the Xbox One, I know that's not much of a consolation, but the way it is unfortunately.

Unfortunately each child needs to have their own account
Each Xbox / Minecraft profile is associated with only one Microsoft account

This means that you need to create a new Microsoft account for each child + purchase the game on each account

Each new xbox will come with 3 new Accounts that you can use on that console. Each user of the said new console would need to create new accounts on said console. As a added suggestion you may want to log out of this account, and log in with whatever new
details you will be using.

Keep in mind that these new accounts will be trial accounts, and as verified here by our fellow ambassador:

If your talking about the free one month of xbox for new users. Each console can have up to three new accounts that will give you a free month of xbox live. Just set up a xbox live account and choose silver membership and then it will give you the free one
month gold.
