Another interesting find.

Since I am still not playing neverwinter I was poking around their forums and came across this.

In case they rip the post down to hide it, here is the meat of it;

So combine that with their requirement that you must prove your innocence instead of them proving you are guilty...

I find it ironic they require you to prove you didn't buy, because if you sold something you must be guilty.

So lets figure this out. Hypothetically if I buy AD post an item and the AD seller buys it, I get banned.

Now I have to prove I didnt buy the diamonds. I can show you credit card statements for every card BUT the one I used. I can show you screen shots of all my emails after I delete the incriminating ones. Just how can I prove I didn't do something? Legally
I shouldn't have to do any of this but some people have reported having to do this. I wonder what Visa/Master Card merchant agreements would say about it.

For the coup de grâce PWE could start up their own competing AD selling business. Or even put a mole in a couple of the AD sellers. What a racket.

Create Hostile Economy, that causes black market to spring up.

Allow black market to advertise in game.

Implement Zero Tolerance punishment.

Overzealously persecute people selling things for the one currency in the game that the black market uses. Causing that currency to fall into disfavor.

 

Still no response from X Box, and a crappy band-aid offered by Perfect world that does not even make up for or fix the scam they pulled. They still don't thin they've wronged anyone lol what a disgraceful developer.

 

Hell since Xbox live has crapped out every night for the last several nights this is almost a moot point.

 

Ok, over 1 week. No comment from MS. Basically this cinches it for me, no Xbox live renewal for me. Just canceled my auto renew. In addition you have lost my good will when someone is considering buying an Xbox, I will explain to them the risks involved
based on your inaction.

MS I am sorry you choose to ignore this, maybe one day you will get that customers that work hard for their money don't want to pay someone to treat them like crap and outright lie to them. I know you dont own Cryptic, however you own the platform they use.
Your agreements surely have teeth for dealing with false advertising and a blog post making statement of fact, later changed to contradict that without rescinding the offer, well, its pretty clear how the customers feel.

 

Im pretty sure PWE/Cryptic are behind the third party sites. between players getting instantly banned for simply having .com in something they typed and players geting instantly banned for typing certain stuff, theres no way a third party could solicit anything
for longer than a few minutes max, let alone weeks, without the in-game mods allowing it. Then theres the thing about mod characters changing names.

I think microsoft should also look into the criticism of microsoft that the mods of the ARCgames forums have typed. criticizing and blaming microsoft doesnt really look good coming from a partner of microsoft. i dont see microsoft mods critisizing PWE/Cryptic.

 

things take time. Microsoft has been good about refunds and working towards a satisfactory solution. stay on task with getting a satisfactory solution from PWE/Cryptic.

 

Actually virtueofcyanide, there are now reports of MS refusing to refund zen and telling people they have to talk to Arc about the issues. I've hit my limit, I thought I could carry on but I am feeling like I am *** my wife out of the money she spent buying
me a year of VIP. I haven't logged in for the past week and so those keys have basically all been wasted.

 

Well still no climbdown from PWE the issue now is how much longer to give them before going back to the MS Store and requesting a refund for the the removal of paid for utility from my account without my agreement.

 

Well I guess we can give up. They just yanked wards from the PC side trade bar store too.

They have yanked them to justify their actions to MS I reckon so that demands for a refund can be managed, further proof games like this have no place on Live.

I reckon the guys on PS4 should be well aware whats coming, I wonder if Sony will allow their clients to be turned over like this?
