Neverwinter-Star of Simiril Companion

Hello, In Neverwinter I recently acquired the Star of Simiril companion for all my avatars in the game. I made them active but cannot equip rings to their ring slots, on any of them. Went to check forums about this and saw that if you make idle then make
active again I would be able to fix this problem. It did not work, can anyone help me find a way to equip gear to this companion. Thnak you.

Try performing a hard reset EXACTLY like this. Hold the power button on the console for 8 seconds or until the power shuts down completely. Unplug the power cord from the back of the console for 5 minutes. Plug the power cord back in and restart
the console.
