Never seen this before

So, I have game pass, and I can play game pass games, but I can’t seem to play any online games, as it just keeps giving me the option to buy game pass, and keeps telling me I don’t have an Xbox live gold subscription. I have not seen a single thing that has helped me with this problem, what is happening?

Do you have standard Game Pass or Game Pass Ultimate? Standard Game Pass doesn't include Gold so you wouldn't be able to play online with only that .

The app is if you have the two-step verification enabled, if there is none simply type in your password.

Pull the hard drive out and put it back in. If that doesn't fix it you might have a bad hard drive.

I appreciate the reply, but I'm still having the issue where I can't even type in a password. (Also, the page gives faulty directions, saying to click on options that aren't there. I still managed to find the page to receive an app password, but again, there's nowhere to plug it into the xbox.)

Here's what I see when I turn on my xbox and click on my account (I covered up my email).

The strange thing to me is screen 2 going to screen 3, not even allowing me to type in a password. : (
