Never Received Windows 10 Download Code - Purchase made in March through Amazon try #3

You are a large company who offered download codes with a purchase. You must have more information than none. Please, it's insulting to have you shut down my simple question: "Where is the product I paid you for?"

Possible answers are "we had a finite number of download codes and ran out" or "we did not have a finite amount of download codes but are not releasing them." Either is better than making me use a public forum to beg for the product I purchased.

What a joke. Answer the question or don't but don't just moderate my question and tell me to wait. It's embarrassing for you and insulting to me.

Hello - I chatted with an Xbox support team member named Cassy on 6-5-16. She instructured me to open a post on this forum.

I purchased, via Amazon, Quantum Break for xBox One knowing it came with a free Windows 10 code. The Windows 10 code is what I am after. I am able to find the xBox one game in my xBox one account, but I have no way of actually downloading or playing the
game on my PC. Did I simply not receive the code?

Hi there, can you please tell us what game you're talking about? I think the only game that's given a Windows 10 code is Quantum Break?

If you are referring to Quantum Break are you sure the version you bought the version that entitled you to the W10 code? To be eligible customers had to pre-order the digital version of "Quantum Break" for Xbox One through the Xbox Store or for those who
redeemed a digital code purchased from participating retailers or from the Xbox One Special Edition Quantum Break Bundle by April 5, 2016.

If it's not QB, please let us know what game you are referring to.

Yes I bought through Amazon on March 26th for the sole purpose of getting the PC code, as I explained in the original complaint.

So the first two responders didn't even know what game I was asking about despite it literally being the title of my original email?

 

1. I don't click on random links.

2. I have no idea where your original complaint is, all I can see is the borderline incoherent rant in your original post.

3. I can't see your original email, I'm an Xbox user like yourself who is taking time out of his day to try and assist with your issue.

Lastly, I have searched just about everywhere looking for information on this for you and I just can't find a single source where you would need to enquire about your missing code. I think it's best you sit tight and see what official Xbox support has to
say. Good luck with it.

 

Let's look at this from the customer's point of view.

Your own company is using this as your customer support system. I attached links using the rich formatting within your forum system. So it's not "clicking random links" it's "clicking links that your customer embedded via the rich formatting in the forum
that is the vehicle you use for customer service."

Calling my legitimate customer complaint a "rant" is high-quality customer service. I did everything I could to document my issue, again, using the system provided to me. Fun to see that is just a rant.

If you are actually not a customer service rep, and just some random gamer, then get far away from my customer service. Either you are paid by Microsoft and you should fix my issue or you should not be attempting to solve issues around game codes. That's
insane. I hope xBox has not farmed their customer service to unpaid users of their gaming systems.

Last, I'm going to do a chargeback anyway at this point. So if you're a random internet stranger that shouldn't bother you at all. If you are a xBox customer service rep maybe that will matter. Either way, thanks for whatever this was. Certainly not customer
service.
