Never received groove code

I signed up for a promotion through my Xbox one for groove music. It said sign up for 4 free months. I singed up and it was free for first month. It said I would be sent a code for the other 3 months. It did not say where to, but I assume my e-mail or Xbox
messages. I never received my code in either. i got an e-mail today saying my subscription would be renewed July 17th, but was being charged. I talked to a support lady who sent me here and said the convo would be recorded for reference and turned off the
auto-renewal because I'm still owed 3 months free to my knowledge. So I am just wondering what is going on and if I will be getting my other 3 months?

Hi. I signed up on January 14th and my subscription ended February 14th. I signed up on the Windows/Groove website on my computer since the link to promotional event was online. The link was similar to this one: https://www.microsoft.com/en-us/groove/bogo,
however the only difference is that the new promotional event ends extends till August whereas the one I signed up during ends in March. So, the promotions are the same but the runtime of them occurred separately, but both offer the same 3 free months. The
Groove tech sent me to this forum because he said there was a team here that specifically dealt with this, and said the team would just need to verify my account and assist in sending a new code.
