    Feb 10th I Purchased a 3 month deal with the promise of another 3 month code. I didn't receive this code by March 2nd so I made a chat inquiry and was told to wait until March 15th. Today, 3/24 I still have received the code and went to chat again and was
    told I had to make a post here about the code I was promised.

    This is absolutely ridiculous. I've spent over an hour of my time on chat just to get something that was promised as part of my purchase. Then I was told they couldn't help me and I had to go make this post? How unbelievably unprofessional is this?

    Microsoft always blows my mind with their inability to address even the most basic customer service.

    Two and a half month later, my account is still in Russian

    Three months for me tomorrow, and same story. I filed a BBB comlaint 3 weeks ago and did finally get a call from a rep with the MS corporate office, followed by another free month code and then this generic e-mail about the investigation:

    Dear Xbox LIVE Customer,

    We are continuing to investigate your report of unauthorized account access to your Xbox LIVE account. Our goal is to unlock your account as quickly as possible. As previously communicated to you this investigation may take up to 3 weeks to resolve. During
    this time we ask for your continued patience.

    If you have any concerns please contact us and be sure to include service request number XXXXX.

    The Xbox LIVE Investigations Team

    Hopefully this is getting the case looked at more, but the generic e-mail above doesn't inspire much confidence, given it was 3 months ago when they said it would take 3 weeks!

    Hi there.

    Unfortunately, we have determined that you did not purchase Gold during the promotion period or from the promotion page on the account you have posted with.

    When taking advantage of the promotion your would have needed to purchase directly from the ad during the specified time in the terms and conditions.

    Was this with another account by chance?

  5. This is absolutely untrue. I have the receipt from Paypal when I purchased the deal on Feb 10th. I have this receipt and will gladly provide it to you.

    Here is the link that brought me to the Microsoft site that was running the promo, the Microsoft website clearly displayed the promotion was valid at the time of purchase. Get 3 Months Of Xbox Live Gold For Free When You Buy 3 Months

    To your last statement: You are again incorrect. I purchased the 3 month Gold for the account I am posting from. I know this because I play Xbox Live weekly with the account in question, that I used this promotion for.

    What is clear is YOU ARE AN ABUNDANCE OF MISINFORMATION: I have proof that 1) I purchased it during the time of the promotion, 2) the source of the promotion and 3) the account I am posting from is my current and only Xbox Live account.

    How are you able to maintain a job and be so bad at it? You are an abundance of misinformation.

  6. We understand this may be a frustrating experience but unfortunately Gamespot is not an official source and they linked you to the purchase Gold standard page not a promotion page.

    Keep in mind that if you purchased a Prepaid Gold code or token this would not qualify you for the promotion.

    If you were able to navigate to the proper location for that promotion and have the proof of purchase of a subscription can you send us photos of that now?

  7. I am literally cancelling my Xbox Live subscription, selling my Xbox and purchasing a PlayStation. I've been an Xbox Live Gold member since 2007. Every time I have needed customer service on your behalf, it has been utterly lacking and is honestly shocking
    that a company of Microsoft's stature operates like this.

    Thank you for wasting my time, deceiving a 10+ year customer, and losing my business.
