    Sorry if this is a repeat thread, but today i've just been passed from person to person and i've achieved nothing. I purchased Halo:MCC from xbox store, 64GIG later, the single player game worked perfectly the multiplayer was a different story. After 30-40
    minutes of ' searching for other players' I was excited when the @connecting to game' message popped up...then it went back to 'searching for other players'. Thats as far as I've ever got.

    Updates didn't work. factory reset doesn't work, reinstalling doesn't work either. My NAT is open, MAC address was cleared and reset ( supports suggestion), switched from wireless to wired connection, cleared local cache, local saved games, rebooted the
    router and restarted the XB1 countless times too and nothing has worked.

    This morning ( which slowly dragged into the afternoon, i spoke to 4 chat support people i finally asked for a refund because there is clearly an issue with the game..Asking for a refund after months of the game not working is like banging my head against
    a brick wall.

    Any suggestions ????

    Xbox One- NAT type is open, cannot connect to matches/parties?

    I've had this issue ever since I got my xbox one last week, never been able to connect to any games yet, keeps saying I'm not connected to xbox live, but my internet connect test and multiplayer test both say OK.

    There is nothing wrong with the game itself. Match-Making has been fixed and it is fairly easy to find a match.

    However, your gamertag is showing as Silver. Multiplayer features such as Match-Making require a Gold membership. Once a membership (1, 3, 6 or 12 month - not trial) has been added to your account you'll be able to take full advantage of all Gold membership

  5. Thanks for the reply, and I know my account is now silver, but with the XB1 blessing us with gold sharing... It now saves me a fortune not having to pay for 5 memberships. After contacting support yesterday ( over 6 hrs in total on chat), tried every suggestion
    they could think of, they finally decided there was an issue with my downloaded game.

    End of the day, everyone is happy the problem has been sorted.

    Has the Kinectless SKU changed your mind?

    I never wanted a Kinect. It does nothing of interest to me--as of yet.

    I did want an X1 and Microsoft management came out and specifically said the X1 and Kinect would not be sold separately.

    Had I known that Microsoft management erred/misspoke/lied when they said the two would not be sold separately, I would have waited. But since they specifically said, there would be no separation, I made the purchase.

    I have never used it.

    I would have purchased the Kinectless version.
