Never cancel a service order

So back in Feb 2016 I started noticing issues with my controller. went so far as to even start a Service order, but I cancelled it as it was confusing. One I was on the US site not the Canadian site. So for one reason or another I put it off, as I bought
another controller. So over the last couple of days I found out that the controller is off warranty, and microsoft will not do anything for me but give me a bunch of 'to bad it's off warranty' and 'had you contacted us sooner'...

They have all the info but say nothing can be done...

So beware kids. Read the fine print or MicroScrooge will punish you for not finding their web site and information easy to use.

Received the wrong Rainbow Six Vegas 2 code. Anyone else?

Never mind.

MS support never got back to me so I've cancelled the pre-order. Poor customer service

Warning to anyone thinking of pre-ordering the game on the console to get the free rainbow six games, you might get the wrong code and support staff can't do anything about it but cancel the pre-order.

Would Game or GameStation do a straight swap?

They'll never swap it without a reciept.

I would just cancel the order and re-order it.

If you have a previous case number, or some sort of pending order perhaps there is something customer service can do. Unfortunately they would be the only ones that may be able to help you. It's hard to say with it out of warranty now however. You can contact

You'll need to contact support so they can look into it for you. You can request a call back or chat with support at http://support.xbox.com/contact-us If you're not seeing those options, change your category/topic until you do. Billing & Subscriptions and "I don't recognize a charge" usually works for me.

Ok thanks they keep saying when I try to contact support that you can not connect with support for these questions. So i will try your suggestion.
