My brand new xbox came with only 3GB, so i configured a flashdrive for it last night and saved stuff on it. Then when i went to play today , the flashdrive was un-configured. why can't microsoft do anthing right.

Did you configure it on the console or use a non supported flash drive these are reasons why they could have unconfigured.

To prevent this from happening again (so long as it's a compatible drive) format the usb stick on your pc first and then configure it to the 360.

It's pretty sad that I have never owned a Microsoft console that made it to the next generation. Always had to replace it within a couple of years. I guess that is the point?

Well, walking dead isint altering the software on my TV either. Many thing do occur during updates. Just ask Apple....
