Never Alone download doesn't complete

Yes, that is the same problem. In fact, the problem started when the update became available for Never Alone. The update will not download and, if you then uninstall the game, you will not be able to reinstall it.

Incidentally, I have also tried installing/downloading on the internal disk and an external disk.

Well, after nearly 3 weeks, we are still unable to download, update, install or play a game that we have paid for.

Is there nobody at Xbox Support that could at least inform us all of what is happening and if we are likely to ever be able to play this game?

Yep same problem. If you pay for something shouldn't it work. Ive never had this problem with anything else. If the game won't download I want my money back but some how I know that wont happen. Xbox can you please fix this problem so I can play the game
I paid for or tell use what is going on.

OK, the game has finally been re-pushed to the servers for the region. I can confirm that you should all now be able to download/update/install the game. I have myself managed to reinstall the game and play it. It was a long wait, but it's a wonderful game
worth waiting for.

I'm having some kind of similar issue I think. I did manage to download never alone, but when I try to launch it says that it needs an update. However it won't download the update, saying that there's a problem with the update. Perhaps an update was released
that is causing problems in AUS/NZ (I'm AUS), which is causing the download issue?

I bought Never Alone yesterday and similarly it refuses to download. It flicks every few minutes between Queued and installing. However, it never gets off 0%.

It is only this game (that I've seen), as I just downloaded screamride demo & Quickflix to test that it wasn't a more widespread problem.

I've power cycled, factory reset and neither has done the trick. After reading Ross's post above that doesn't seem surprising.

Guess I'll have to apply for a refund if it doesn't get sorted. But I'd rather have the game.

I have been having this problem for some time - and I have had it before too. But, no matter how many times I contact support, via phone, online chat, etc., they never seem to believe me when I say it appears to be an Australian/NZ issue.

Today I even had Korean and Japanese achievements and challenges pop up. Somehow Microsoft gets things mixed up for a while. I have almost given up hope of ever being able to play Never Alone again - and then I will be asking for a refund.

Would be interested to know if you have any success tonight.
