    Networkproblem, works with wifi not cable


    My xbox one console starting to have problem to connect to xbox live. It works fine with wifi, but not with cable. Its no problem with the cabel itself because it works fine with my computer. When i do the network test with cabel it says "it works fine"
    but still cant connect to xbox live.

    I have checked my xbox live gold and its paid and all good.

    I have restarted my router over and over again.

    It still wont work....

    I dont know what to do, someone with the same problem that would help?

    xbox one s. wifi not working

    Xbox one s has started to think it has an ethernet cable attached when theres not one connected. also wifi will not work due to ethernet cable setting stopping wifi from working. console works fine and connects to internet when ethernet cable is plugged
    in but console has allways operated with wifi and have only used cable when problem arised. any ideas. I have tried console reset but problem still exists.

    Hi FrAnk D BuNnY,

    Sorry you're having some problems connecting to Xbox Live. First if you're on wireless, try bypassing that and plugging into the network. That will tell you if it's a wifi issue. Try the NAT solution to see if that helps at the link below. Also is a link
    to a forum post that may help you. If you put your console on the DMZ, you're basically bypassing all of the network.

    It could be your WiFi connection or your land line/Ethernet cable may not be working properly. Try replacing your cable or resetting your WiFi connection.

    It sound like your line or wifi is unstable .. if you loose connection for like a couple of seconds, you will get disconnected .. Try with a cable to see if that works .. if that works, then your line is fine and you have to tweak your wifi settings .. please
    make sure when you test the wifi that nothing else is connected to that wifi hotspot.
