    My Xbox one is not connecting to the wifi at my house. I used it like 90 minutes ago and its been down since then. I have tried to chat with you but your not responding. I would like to get on Black ops 3 and play for my double xp

    Hey BiOHAZARD 901,

    I assume you have already performed these steps at the link below, if you haven't done any of the troubleshooting steps in the link, go ahead and try them.

    On the off-chance that none of these has helped you at all, I would actually suggest resetting the router and the Xbox's Network Settings back to default and see if that helps.

    Have you tried power cycling? First your router, then wait 5 minutes or so, then the Xbox.

    Microsoft Locked the wireless alternate mac address on the new xbox one s , this means if you have to manually input the wireless mac address you cant, even if you manually input the wireless alternate mac address it wont take after the console restarts..this
    is bad new gamers, you been warned...if you need to manually enter your alternate mac address then dont buy a new xbox one s.

    also noted that every game console lets you change the wireless mac address, even the original xbox one lets you change the alternate mac address to the one you need to use...but the new xbox one s locked us out in changing the wireless mac address manually

    If the previous selection doesn't work try performing a hard reset EXACTLY like this. Hold the power button on the console for 8 seconds or until the power shuts down completely. Unplug the power cord from the back of the console for 5 minutes. Plug the
    power cord back in and restart the console. Once it is back up and operational test the results.

    If this helps to clarify, I had an issue with my OG Xbox one where I could not connect wirelessly either. No matter what I did, no networks would show up and it told me I would have to send it into Microsoft for a repair. However, connecting by ethernet
    totally fixed my problem. So I hope this helps!

    could be a number of things.

    some things that will help

    reset your router - back of router

    power cycle your xbox - turn off & unplug xbox for 1 minute and plug it back in

    clear your alternate mac - settings-network settings-advanced-alternate mac-clear (your xbox will restart)

    static IP - if unsure on how to do so contact your service provider and they should have a tech department that can help.

    check you have an open NAT type - if not sometimes resetting the router will help but you may need to have some ports opened through your router - port
