  1. Networking problem

hey, wondering if anyone can help , got a xbone two weeks ago and had nothing but connection issues , ive tryed everything i can think and nothings sorted it , port forwarding , remove profile and clear cache 3 times, restore my router to factory , console
back to factory , took the console back to Game (uk) had it replaced and it worked fine for a few days then back to the problem.

    PROBLEM

What keeps happening on Call of duty Aw or Halo :Mcc is i will get disconnected every game or in halos case not beable to join. i did a test earlier using my ps4 and wii u also , wii is downstairs ps4 is in other bedroom and xbox is in my games room
with the router , neither other console disconnected when playing online all at the same time only the xbox.

Anyone know what could be up? kinda annoying dropping that amount of money on a console not to work ( and then them annoucning a 1tb version for around the price i payed a week later )

    :)

  2. Windows 8.1 networking problem

    Hi,

I connect to Xbox Live through my windows 8 laptop. I had no problems whats so ever, until I regrettably upgraded to widows 8.1 and now I cannot connect to Xbox Live. The problem occurs when it tries to connect to the network and cannot access the network.
    I use a wired connection.

I tried all the solutions I could find online. When I plugged my xbox straight to my modem, it worked perfectly.

    Any solutions out there?

    Hey Sup3rM0nk3y 91,

Please could you answer the following questions:

    - Who is your ISP (internet service provider)?

    - Which router/modem do you have?

    - Are you connecting wired or wirelessly?

    Look forward to hearing back!

    Excellent :)

Out of interest can you please let me know what firmware your router is running it will be shown on this screen of your router:-

    screenshots.portforward.com/.../Router_Status.htm

The WNDR3400 isn't on the Xbox certified list (it might not have been submitted for testing) but I like to keep a list of routers that do work that are not on that list, I can add it here then:-

    Thanks

EDIT: Arr I see what you mean, yeah 1.40 looks like a typo ;) anyway if you could let me know the firmware anyway

Are you able to try the ethernet cable to your Xbox? That would help us determine where the problem is. :)

    network problems

Hi Stomping! I can confirm that this is an ongoing issue for many CoD Ghosts players. In addition to the steps Faithless mentioned, I would also suggest a couple of additional things, which are troubleshooting steps publicized by developers on the CoD forums:

    1. Make sure on your router that you have forwarded the network ports Xbox One uses for network communication.

    2. Make sure your Xbox One is hardwired into your router to preserve the integrity of the connection.

    3. If all of the above (including rebooting the router and hard-resetting the Xbox) still cause issues, there is another possibility. The video below is from a user who has this issue, and has found a temporary workaround which seems to work for an extended
period, or even causes the issue to go away completely until the next system reboot.

Give it a try and let us know!
