    Need some help here guys, okay maybe more advice. Here's my issue. Up until my recent move i was able to have 2 xbox one consoles in my home and playing online together worked great. I moved into a new apartment complex that includes free wifi. That
    is great and all but that means i have no access to the router or its settings. Since moving i have been unable to have both consoles play online together. To clarify, they can both connect to xbox live and connect to online sessions. The issue begins when
    trying to join a session where one or the other xbox ones are present. No matter what i have tried the 2 xbox's cant play in the same session together. The only work around I've found is connecting to my cell phones hotspot network on one of the consoles,
    after this they can play together correctly. Is this a normal issue? Never had this issue before the move with both consoles on the same network, so im stumped. Id like to say i know alot about network settings but im no expert, ive tried all the NAT and
    diagnostic tests xbox is capable of, even tried contacting xbox support via chat. That ended up being a copy and paste session of microsofts general fixes from the support person. I need more advanced network explanations on why my 2 xbox's wont play together.

    I am trying to reconnect my Xbox One to the wireless network but it is not letting me do that. It is saying that I am using a wired connection, but I am not. I do not have anything plugged into the Xbox except for the power cord and the HDMI cable. So I
    am confused on why it is saying that and not letting me connect to the internet.

    Try a hard reset of the xbox hold the home button for 8 seconds till it completely shuts off and unplug the xbox for 5 minutes then forget your network and try reconnecting

    Hi,

    Thanks for your quick response.

    1. I think you are right, it probably is not a network issue. I do not receive any error message when checking my network connection; the network, internet, and xbox live are all connected just fine.

    2. I received an error message, “80072ee2” that led me to this forum on xbox support,

    support.xbox.com/.../software-update-errors     It told me that my problem was that the update could not be downloaded from xbox live. I checked when the download was issues, and it was right around the same time that my xbox started lagging out (August 26,
    2013).

    3. Ah ah! Now that is interesting. I disconnected the hard drive and turned it on. Before it booted up, I was prompted to get a system update. However, I need 190 mb of free space… so, I plugged the hard drive back on. But then it does not update
    and is still slow. Do I need a new hard drive? and will that erase my xboxlive account?

    Hey there! OK a few things.

    1. That does indeed sound really frustrating, but I bet there are things we can do to help! From what you're describing, it doesn't sound like it's a network issue (since menus and such run slowly), but just in case, the first thing I'm going to link you is
    the Troubleshoot Xbox Live connectivity problems.

    2. Now, what's leading you to believe you need to reinstall the update? Is the console saying something about that specifically?

    3. Let's see if it's something hardware related. Can you please try removing all accessories (including the hard drive if you have one) and connecting to Live again?
