    Network transfer issue

I have 2 consoles connected to my home network via gigabit switch. I've enabled network transfer on both. Both consoles see one another under the network transfer main page. However, while Xbox 2 can see the games and apps list on Xbox 1 as well as copy,
Xbox 1 cannot pull up the games and apps on Xbox 2. I get a message stating to check the connection to the Xbox. I tried the following with no change:

turning everything off network and Xboxes, and powering back on

    directly wiring to the router

Put Xbox 1 on wireless, Xbox 2 on wired connection

    Manually changed ports

    Manually set network settings

    Changed out cat6 cables

    Nothing helped.

Any advice will be greatly appreciated!

    Thank you!

    :)

  3. Network transfer

    Hi Law Maker,

Thanks for the reply! I'm sorry to hear about the issue on
copying games to your new console vial network transfer
. Unfortunately, the file at times may be corrupted for transfer and a quick fix is to install it directly to the console.

    • What is the error message you are receiving when you attempting to transfer?

Hope this helps. Let us know.

    Network transfer issue

Go to system > Console Info and check the OS versions against eachother. I solved this issue by removing my console from the preview program so they are running the same OS version and it's working fine now. Be aware that this will require you to download
the most recent system update again and you'll have to go through initial setup.

Yup both on same version. I actually took them both off preview program and made sure both were completely up to date. Still not working. Seems to be pretty widespread. I posted a topic on Reddit abt it and I had multiple folks with same issue.

I have a very similar issue.

I have noticed that all digital content (apps / games) went across perfectly ok, but two of my disc based games steadfast refuse to go across always saying “installation stopped”.

Sure, I could just stick the disc into my new XB1X, but that would destroy my internet download allowance when re-downloading all content, updates and 4K enhancements. I shouldn’t have to do this!
