I juat signed out and back in and it worked!

 

Tried everything, won't even work with hotspot. Help!

 

Hey everyone, I have had the same problem and have spent a total of 4 hours trying to fix it. I never even thought of signing out, after looking at this page and seeing the suggestions I signed out, signed right back in and it works! Thank you guys so much

Same issue, hard resets etc not fixing. Signed out of profile, XBL connects and stays connected once signed back in.

 

This issue is happening to me as well and the hotspot fix worked for me. Im almost 100% positive it is NOT a faulty router issue as my brother on the same network is able to connect. I was also able to connect for about an hour after deleting and redownloading
my gamertag to my console.

 

@ Grizzly , 2 xboxs on the same network is a different issue altogether ....most routers cant handle that and his has probably become the 'dominate" xbox and the ports are coming to his and hit and miss on yours...
